Just want to see what you guys think about them.
Are they as satisfying as a regular cigarette?
Do they really “taste the same”?

After smoking 20 cigarettes a day for 20 years, I have finally decided to quit (again) The last time I quit, I was miserable, put heaps on weight on and, resorted back to the demon. I reluctantly decided I was always going to be a smoker for the rest of my life.
However, I am sick of pushing the worries about my health to the back of my mind (niggling cough, constantly clearing my throat) and also we have just bought a new house and I cant afford to carry on smoking.
I have been doing a bit of research on the net and have read up about electronic cigarettes. Through what I have read, I have a glimmer of hope in it being a step towards quitting. The patches never worked for me as they didnt get rid of the craving, plus I was eating instead of going out for smoke breaks etc which is why the weight piled on.
I wondered whether anyone had had successful results with the electronic cigarette in eventually giving up smoking? There are loads of brands around. Which is best? They dont seem to be available here in NZ so I will have to pay an initial outlay for the shipping etc… any comments – good or bad?
